Review: Etude House Juicy Cocktail gradation nails no. 7 - Peach Crush

I planned to post this review during the summer as the colors of the nail polishes of the Etude House Juicy cocktail gradation nails no. 7 - Peach Crush just scream summer and cocktails to me. Luckily, I am still able to have it on my blog before the end of August.
Review: Etude House Juicy Cocktail gradation nails no. 7 - Peach Crush

This nail polish set was one of the latest additions to the Etude House Juicy Cocktail gradation nails sets and I bought it together with the Etude House Juicy Cocktail gradation nails no. 8 - Lime Squash and the Etude House Juicy Cocktail gradation nails no. 1 - Screw Driver in my 15th Gmarket order (which was more than a year ago! I should really review faster >_<).

three nail polishes of the Etude House Juicy Cocktail gradation nails no. 7 - Peach Crush

The first nail polish that you need to apply is no. 1 - Calm Peach.

It is a very glossy, milky pink nail polish that needs about 2-3 layers to achieve the result that you can see in the picture underneath. It is a beautiful, natural looking nail polish that you can wear by itself on a normal day.

The second nail polish that you apply from the middle part of your nails is no. 2 - Exuberant Peach.

It is a milky orange nail polish with tiny gold shimmers. One thin coat was already enough to have enough coverage. Although the instructions tell you to apply it from the middle of the nail, I think I will apply it from 1/3 of the nail the next time as that might look prettier.

The third nail polish that you apply on the tips of your nails is no. 3 - Bright Peach.

It is a dark pink nail polish with more pronounced silver shimmers and some finer multi-color shimmers. For this nail polish, you also just need to apply a very thin coat for the color to show up on your nails. In the end, I applied a layer of top coat on top to make the gradation between the three colors of nail polish look smoother.

What do I think?

I like each of the nail polishes individually as I like the colors and it is nice that I can wear them on their own too. Some of the other Etude House Juicy Cocktail gradation nails sets had sheer glitter top coats or sheer base coats in them, but in this set, all nail polishes are great. The gradation isn't that beautiful as you can really see the separate lines like in a three color popsicle, but a little bit of top coat made it look smoother and it isn't that bad to have nails looking like juicy popsicles.

For better looking gradation nails, I recommend applying the second nail polish from 1/3 of the nail (counting from the tip) and applying both the no. 2 and no. 3 nail polish very thinly.

Cheers to a great summer!
