Etude House Eraser Show Line Remover Stick review

After reviewing the Etude House Eraser Show Mascara cleaner in this post, now it's time to put the Etude House Eraser Show Line Remover Stick to the test. I have taken out all the water-proof eyeliners that I own for this occasion: four from Peripera and four from Holika Holika. I might as well, make pictures of the eyeliners on my eyes too. What better way to test a eyeliner remover than making multiple eye swatches in a row? :)

What do I think of the Etude House Eraser Show Line Remover Stick?

The stick's consistency is very similar to vaseline and also looks a bit like a white candle. I first tested the Etude House Line Remover Stick on the lighter eyeliner colors, the gold and pink. I have went over the eyeliner on my eye with the Line Remover Stick once or twice to make sure the makeup was totally covered with the stick's cream. You do not see much happening, but you do feel that the makeup is starting to "float" on top of your skin. It is like the oil from the cream is getting between the makeup and your skin. You just need to take a cotton pad to gently wipe the eye makeup off.

Next, I applied the darker eyeliners: the khaki and purple ones. For these two, I needed to apply 2-3 layers of the Line Remover Stick to fully remove the makeup. Right after, I used a dark black eyeliner and a light beige eyeliner with a pink one. There were no dark/colorful residuals to be seen on the eye from the earlier khaki and purple eyeliners, so applying these were without problems. As before, the lighter colors were easy to remove and the darker black eyeliner needed me to go over it a few more times with the Line Remover Stick.

Even though the Line Remover Stick got quite dirty because of the black, purple, and khaki eyeliner, wiping the stick with a tissue right after, made it totally clean again. So you don't have to worry that clean-up of the stick is troublesome or that the next time you need to use the Line Remover Stick, residuals on the stick will come off onto your skin.

Note: the whole removal of the makeup happened without the use of water. It is therefore great for when you are traveling and on the go. You can easily touch up your makeup anytime and anyplace. From the writing on the packaging, I think it is also possible to remove small lip stick and eye shadow smudges/mistakes. So, it is not just limited to eyeliner.
