Review: banila co. triple wonder care lip tint - 02 Parisian

Some time ago, I wrote about the banila co. triple wonder care lip tints that come in 3 colors and I can finally try out one of the them in the color no. 02 Parisian. It is the first makeup product that I own from banila co. and this has been on my wishlist for the longest time. I was very lucky to receive this right before the winter started, since I could really put this 3-in-1 lip product (lip tint, lip essence, and pearly gloss) to the test.

The banila co. triple wonder care lip tint comes in a carton box with a open window on the side showing you the three colors in the lip tint. The colors stacked on each other like in a popsicle is one of the things that made me want to buy it, so I understand why they had to showcase it like this.

The applicator is a little bit slanted, but the product somehow only sticks on the very tip of the brush, which makes it necessary to apply twice.

Even though the pearly gloss layer is on the very bottom, you can see that I was still able to pick it up on the applicator. I think they made it this way to make sure that you only get a tiny bit of glitter each time to just make your lips look glossier and that it doesn't get too much.

Sadly, the three separate colors started to mix together very soon and the lip tint kind of lost a bit of its gimmick. But I still really love the banila co. triple care lip tint and you can see why underneath.

It gives my lips a very pretty, dark cherry pink color and I like how I can just apply this lip tint on chapped lips. The glossy coat stays on the lips for hours and my lips still have a hint of color from the tint at the end of the day. It is perfect for lazy people like me that forget to touch up every now and then. I almost forgot to mention that it also has a very nice, not too overly sweet, strawberry scent.

My opinion

It is a very long-lasting, non-sticky, weightless lip tint/balm that also gives you plenty of gloss. The good part is that it really helps making your lips feel softer. I have been using it the whole winter already and even though I normally have very dry lips, I barely have chapped lips now. I am thinking about getting the other colors, when this one runs out.

Where to buy?

It is available at W2Beauty for $13.38 and with free international shipping. This is really reasonable, since the retail price is 14,000 won.
