Eye makeup look with the Max Factor Excess Shimmer 20 - Copper

In this blog post, I will show you the Max Factor Excess Shimmer 20 - Copper, which is my favorite, out of the three that I have. I actually planned to review the rest of the Max Factor Excess Shimmer gel eye shadows before Christmas (If you have missed it, you can find my review of the shade 05 - Crystal here), but I think I am still in time for New Year's Eve, which is also the best occasion to wear glitters - not only with regards to make-up, but also with fashion.   




The Max Factor Excess Shimmer 20 - Copper* has a light copper color with tiny little shimmers. Different from the Max Factor Excess Shimmer 05 - Crystal, this gel eyeshadow is a lot more pigmented.



This eyeshadow has the perfect shade to create subtle bronzed looks with. I have never tried the bronzed makeup look on myself before, as it can be bit intimidating for someone that is just starting out with makeup. But the Max Factor Excess Shimmer 20 - Copper looks very pretty on the eyes. Strangely, it also magically looks slightly darker in the outer corners of the eyes. This really made it very easy for me, since I just needed to lightly dab it on my eyelids with my finger.    

To emphasize the outer corners of the eyes more, I used a bit of the Max Factor Excess Shimmer 25 - Bronze, which I will be reviewing soon, in the picture underneath.
