Recipe: Red bean ice cube drink (紅豆冰)

After days with such cold weather that it almost seemed like it is autumn already, we are finally having some sunny days now. That's why I want to share two other easy recipes in which I used the rest of the mixture that I made for the Red bean popsicles. The first one is the Hong Kong style Red bean ice cube drink (紅豆冰). I don't know the original recipe, but this is how I usually make it.

How to make Hong Kong style Red bean ice cube drink (紅豆冰)

I can be really short about this, as I just took a long glass, poured the red bean mixture in and added a handful of ice cubes. In Hong Kong, you always get a long (and wide) straw and a long spoon to eat the red beans with too. It is key to make the mixture sweeter than normal as the ice cubes might dilute the taste too much. Again, the advantage of making the drink yourself is that you can add as many red beans as you like and in my case, it is a lot. ^_^
