Itinerary of my day trip in Brussels: Les Galeries Royales Saint Hubert (Koninklijke Sint-Hubertusgalerijen) - part 2
Les Galeries Royales Saint Hubert, which is a covered shopping arcade from the 19th century, has a very impressive facade. I really like the Roman influences of the building.
Official website
Inside, you can find many expensive jewellery and accessories stores. But what caught my attention the most is the chocolate stores and their beautiful shop windows in Easter theme:
The Neuhaus macarons are available in the following flavors: raspberry, cassis and violet, pistachio, lemon, vanilla, coffee, chocolat, passion fruit and chocolate filling, speculoos, praline, caramel, and chocolate d'origine. You can get a box of 6 macarons for €10.
If you really have something to celebrate, you might want to consider getting this luxurious leather box with 66 Easter chocolate eggs and 45 pralines for €113.

There were also Godiva and Leonidas stores, but since they also have stores in the Netherlands, I wasn't that interested in them. But I heard that they might be a bit cheaper than over here, so I should have taken a look after all.

Corné Port Royal
You can get beautifully decorated, chocolate Easter eggs filled with smaller chocolate eggs, chocolate chickens, small chocolate sheep, truffles, bonbons, Délices du Roy macarons (12 flavors), and special teas here.Neuhaus
I am seriously impressed by the giant chocolate egg that you can see in the right (with the letter N on it) and the good thing is that you can actually buy it. If I ever decide to buy it, I wouldn't know where to start eating. ^_^The Neuhaus macarons are available in the following flavors: raspberry, cassis and violet, pistachio, lemon, vanilla, coffee, chocolat, passion fruit and chocolate filling, speculoos, praline, caramel, and chocolate d'origine. La Belgique Gourmande
La Belgique Gourmande has a beautiful store decorated like a fairytale forest.Pierre Marcolini
The Pierre Marcolini has a very sleek store, which is decorated like an art exhibit. The prices of the chocolate are almost that of an art piece too, but I discovered this box of 12 macarons for €19.20, which is still within my budget. I regret not buying it, as the box and the gift bag looks gorgeous. There were also Godiva and Leonidas stores, but since they also have stores in the Netherlands, I wasn't that interested in them.
