Itinerary of my day trip in Brussels: Grand Place - part 5
The Grand Place is a square, which is surrounded by beautiful old buildings with details in the shiniest gold. I should have taken a panorama picture, but I forgot. Don't fret, as there are a lot of beautiful pictures of the buildings separately instead.

Since I mainly took pictures of the buildings, you might not know, but right underneath these historic buildings, there are small restaurants, cafes, and stores.
Stadhuis van Brussel (Town Hall)
You can recognize the Town Hall by the clock on the left tower.
When you get closer, you will see that the details of the building are actually small human statues.
Maison du roi (broodhuis) museum
The Maison du roi is the darkest grey building. In front of it, you can see a stall where someone is selling drawings.
The rest of the buildings are guildhalls.
I don't know exactly which building is of which guild, except for this building of the beer brewers. It is the building that you can see in the picture underneath and it is located on the left side of the Town Hall. It has a beer museum that is open to tourists.
The rest of the guildhalls are beautifully decorated by gold details too.
It looks like it would be very romantic to get a tour of the city in this horse car.
