Marks & Spencer Spirit of Summer cookies 2017
So far, I have shown you the following products from the Marks & Spencer Spirit of Summer range: the canned drinks, the Portugese egg tarts, and the lemon & ricotta cheesecake. Today, I will review the Marks & Spencer Spirit of Summer cookies: the white chocolate & Sicilian lemon and the roasted cashew & orange.

Just from the names, I already knew that I would like the white chocolate & Sicilian lemon cookies more. But I had eaten a delicious dark chocolate and orange cookie recently, so I gave the roasted cashew & orange cookies a chance too.
I thought I would taste the roasted cashews better than the orange, but it was more a orange cookie with a hint of nuts than a nutty cookie with a hint of orange. I prefer the latter. The roasted cashew was a bit of a disappointment, because I neither tasted a roasted nuts flavor or a strong cashew flavor. But if you like orange flavored cookies, you would love this as the orange flavor is really strong.

White chocolate & Sicilian lemon cookies
When I took the cookies out of the packaging, I was totally mesmerized by the delicious, buttery lemon cookies flavor. That's why the expectations were set high. But although the lemon flavor was strong and the chunky white chocolate cubes were great, I cannot say that I love them. I don't know what exactly it is, but something is just a bit off. Maybe, it is the crunchiness of the cookies or the blend of flavors that just wasn't right.
Personally, the two kinds of cookies were nice to try once, but not sure if I would repurchase them. And if you only want to try one of these two new cookies, I would recommend the white chocolate & Sicilian lemon cookies more. It tasted better than the roasted cashew & orange cookies,
