Etude House Missing U Hand Cream - I can fly review
In my 8th Gmarket order post, you could see that I have bought all the hand creams belonging to the Etude House Missing U hand cream - I can fly collection. This is the third series of hand creams under the Missing U brand. I have explained it in more detail in this post. Today, I will give you a review on the hand creams.
The containers are very cute with the pastel pink, green, yellow, and blue. The two owls have pointy ears, while the green and blue birds have a smooth round head. They all have cute prints on their chests, two wings on the sides and a cute tail. The biggest difference between the two owls is that the yellow owl has a white heart-shaped "face", and the pink owl has eyes like a sleeping mask, as well as charming eyelashes. The pink owl also has two little beige hearts right above the eyes to increase her charm. (I should do this as well when I go on a date, getting makeup inspiration from an owl now. :P). It seems like the yellow owl is the male and the pink owl is the female and they are checking each other out. The yellow owl is moving his eyebrows up and down and thinking: "Damn, that girl is hot. " and the pink owl is innocently batting her lashes. :)
Now, let's look at the inside of the containers. What is written about it on the carton box (which by the way is made from 100% recycled paper and printed with soy ink) : "Formulated with Shea Butter and Herb Water rich in certified organic nutrients, this eco-friendly hand cream not only moisturizes dry hands, but also helps to save our endangered flying friends. 4-free formula: no parabens, sulfate, ethanol, mineral oil."
Story of the Eagle Owl: (taken from the carton box)
"Hi! I'm Eagle Owl, the great night bird! I like to hunt during night time, with my big eyes lit as headlights, I am in danger of extinction, because hunting has become so difficult in bright city nights. Please help me to fly freely again!"
The cream is light pink and the consistency is not as runny as a lotion and spreads out easier and more watery than normal cream. Its fragrance is a very mild, powdery, sweet cherry. It gets absorbed into the skin quite quickly and it does not get very sticky. I have used the hand cream once, and my hands were soft for 2-3 days without re-applying. The cream is the same for the other birds, except for the color and fragrance.

"Hi! I'm Kakapo, the longest living bird on earth! Although I can't fly, I am a great night parrot endemic in New Zealand. People love me and my Kakapo friends so much that they hunt and take us as their pets. As a result, we are now in danger of extinction, with only 121 of us now. The cream is light green and it smells like a sweet green apple.
Story of Cerulean warbler: (taken from carton box)
"Hi! I'm Cerulean warbler, the pretty singing bird in blue! You may already know me from many fairy tales, as I represent happiness. I like to sing, sitting on a branch, but nowadays I can't find many places to sit and sing because of tall buildings with glass walls. Also, many of my friends didn't notice those walls and crashed into them. Please help me to sing freely again!"
The cream is white and it smells like baby powder with a light citron/lemon note.

"Hi! I'm Eastern Glass Owl, the best night hunter with a pretty heart-shaped face mask. I utilize my features like high-tech equipment, so I can hunt very well even in dense forests at night. However, I am in danger of extinction, because hunting has become so difficult with lesser natural areas. Please help me to fly freely again!"
The cream is light orange and it smells like peach candy. My favorite candies from when I was young. :)
