Modi nail polish 43 - Cloud with Etude House Snow of Love
Right after my post about the Faceshop Sweet Kiss Balm, I want to stay in this lovey dovey mood, so I took out a pink nail polish to swatch, the Modi nail polish number 43 - Cloud. It is an interesting name for a pink nail polish, maybe the clouds in Korea are pink due to all the handsome actors, pretty actresses, and the K-pop idols they have there. ^_^ Here in the Netherlands, the clouds are just murky grey. :(
I bought this Modi Glam Nails nail polish a while ago, in my 9th Gmarket order, and I still haven't swatched all the nail polishes I bought that time. Remember me writing that I am starting to have too many pink nail polishes in my "Etude House nail polish DPK003 - Piggy Pink" post, today's nail polish was what I was thinking about. Although all of them are really pretty, I am starting to think that I already have too many shades of pink in my nail polish collection. More reason for me to get all kinds of other colors of nail polish to diversify my collection. ^_^
Modi Glam Nails number 43 - Cloud is a pretty, muted pink nail polish. It looks very milky pink when you have just applied it on your nails, but it will turn into a darker pink, after it dries. Compared to the Etude House Piggy Pink - which is also a muted pink-, I think that this one is a tad darker. It is not as dark as the color in the bottle though. You are able to see for yourself in the second batch of pictures underneath.

To add a sprinkle of "love" to the nails, I just had to take out my Snow of Love nail polish from the Etude House If story nail kit 3. After trying it on top of a pearly white nail polish and on top of the Peripera nail polish PK012, which is a berry red nail polish, I wanted to see how it will fare on top of a mellow pink nail polish. I think that it looks quite nice, the more subdued pink make the bright pink hearts pop. You can also still see the fine pink shimmers. My hands are already itching to try the new heart glitter nail polishes of the Etude House Pink Prism mini nail polish collection. ^_^
