Modi nail polish 80 vs. Peripera BK504

A few days ago, I have shown you the Modi nail polish 80 - Secret Night and I mentioned that it is very different from the Peripera nail polish BK504 that I also own. In this post, both nail polishes will be shown side by side, so that you can easily see the difference between these two nail polishes. I also felt bad about the bad pictures I took of the Peripera BK504 - the pictures totally do not do it justice - , so this makes up for it.

Here, you can see the two nail polishes side by side.

Both nail polish bottles are relatively large, but the Peripera nail polish bottle is slightly larger than the Modi nail polish bottle. The Peripera nail polish also has a better looking overall design.

This is a picture with only one coat of both nail polishes on my nails. 

The Modi nail polish seems to be slightly darker, but both really need a second coat to look nice.

Pinky and ring finger (Modi 80) and middle and index finger (Peripera BK504)

After applying a second coat, both nail polishes look really pretty and you can see the abundance of glitters floating in the black jelly base. With the Peripera BK504 nail polish, you get to see the individual, smaller glitters better than the Modi nail polish 80, which has larger hexagonal glitters blocking the view of the smaller glitters underneath. There is just a lot more larger hexagonal glitters than smaller ones mixed in the nail polish, so you cannot really avoid getting too many large glitters on your nails. Still, I find this to be the charm of that nail polish. It is supposed to be loud and attention grabbing. It is like two different sisters, their appearance may look similar, but their personality is different. One is more modest and the other one has more of a wild side. ^_^
