Aritaum Wannabe Cushion Lip Concealer review
I actually planned to add this to the "Aritaum Wannabe Cushion Tints review" post, but the post got so long and it took me such a long time to write it that I had to write a separate post about the Aritaum Wannabe Cushion Lip Concealer. It is such an amazing product that it deserves to be in the spotlight anyway. ^_^
The main reason why I bought this, besides that I really need something to cover my naturally pigmented lips, is that I heard from a friend that it has a very delicious smell. It really has a very warm vanilla, almost leaning to chocolate kind of scent. Just because of this, I might be using this a lot more than the previous lip concealer that I got. I am a just-apply-the-lip-product-straight-on-my-chapped-lips kind of girl, so a lip concealer is an extra step that I am often too lazy to take. ^_^ But having the incentive of smelling that dessert like fragrance, I will probably take this lip concealer out to use more often.
When you swatch them on a paper tissue, you start to see how different they are. For the left swatch, I applied it normally and for the right swatch, I applied it lightly and tried to smudge it a bit. The lip concealer from Etude House is a lot denser and more difficult to smudge than the one from Aritaum. That is why my first application of the lip concealer from Etude House turned into a disaster. You can find the pictures of that failure here, but if you don't want to see some very scary lips, you can find the improved version here.
I wasn't really able to properly catch the lips on picture, but you should be able to see the main differences. Even though the color of the Aritaum Wannabe Cushion Lip Concealer seem to be darker, it makes my lips lighter and brings out the rosy tones of my lips. The Etude House one on the other hand, gives my lips a light, but slightly sickly look. It somehow emphasizes the purple tones on my lips more. I think this has something to do with the pigmentation of my lips, so it you have lighter skin and lips, the Etude House one could suit you more.

Compared to the Etude House Color Me Nude Lip concealer
I also have the Etude House Color Me Nude lip concealer, so of course, I had to take it out to compare.
Putting them side to side, the lip concealers do not seem to differ that much. If I really have to say something, the one from Aritaum seem to be slightly darker.
