Review: eSpoir no wear touch lipstick PK009
I am seriously behind on reviewing, but I have finally reviewed the eSpoir no wear touch lipstick PK009 that I got in my 13th Gmarket order, together with some other eSpoir products. Previously, I have already shown you the eSpoir Tint & Lip Balm Duo (a hit!) and the eSpoir Lip Color Essence (a miss!).
Unlike the other eSpoir lip products that I bought, the lipsticks from the no wear touch range don't have the paper packaging with the usual dark blue and fuchsia letters print. It has a very pretty pink metallic packaging with pink letters on it. I like it so much that I especially made a close-up picture of it. ^_^
The back of the paper packaging is still dark blue and you can find a short description of the product in English.
While applying the lipstick, you can smell a sweet strawberry, butter candy scent, which doesn't linger on the lips. The lipstick has a very buttery texture that melts on the lips and it feels weightless as promised. I really like how it feels on my lips and how moisturizing it is. However, the lipstick looks very neon pink on my lips with just two coats. Although it does look okay for the summer, it is a very difficult color to wear normally. I tried applying it over lip concealer (the Aritaum Wannabe Cushion Lip Concealer) and it helped a bit. It brought out the warm strawberry pink tones and made it a bit easier on the eyes.
I still haven't figured out what the "no wear touch" means, because it comes off your lips like a normal lipstick. I did notice that it has a pretty lip tint effect after a few hours, so maybe it means "no touch-up necessary"?
For comparison, I added the promotional picture from eSpoir underneath. The color of the lip stick bullet is pretty accurate, but the lipstick without concealer underneath is not that warm pink. It is in reality so neon pink that the camera couldn't even capture the color properly due to the reflection of the neon pigments.
After this one, I still have four more eSpoir lipsticks to review. >_<
Keep reading to see how this eSpoir lipstick will fare.

The color of the lipstick
The color of the eSpoir no wear touch lipstick is PK009 - I don't care. I didn't make this up, the lipstick color is really called " I don't care" (see picture). ^_^
I think I am starting to understand why, as the lipstick color is a really bold, neon pink. You really have to have the "I couldn't care less" attitude to be able to wear this outside. Not too long ago, I was really curious about the Holika Holika neon beam tintbars and the three bright Banila co. Acid Color lip tint pencils. But I actually had this neon pink lipstick at home all along.
The lipstick bullet is quite unusual, as it is slanted and it has a flat circle in the middle. After a few uses, it has become like in the picture underneath.
Lipstick swatch
The eSpoir no wear touch lipstick has a very bright, strawberry pink color. No signs of neon yet. ^_^

Here is another close-up picture of the lips to show you the texture and the color better.
