Souvenirs from Rome!

Last weekend, my brother returned from a week long vacation to Rome (I wish I could go on a vacation too >_<). He had shown us the many beautiful pictures he took and of course, he also brought back many souvenirs. I didn't want anything expensive and I told him that I just wanted to have a taste of Italy, because I really miss eating authentic Italian food. The last time, I went to Italy is already 4 years ago. Back then, I went to Milan and Venice. I have also gone to Rome before, but that was when I was still in high school and it was a school trip. I remember that I tried making beautiful pictures with a disposable camera. ^_^ I needed to keep winding it (which was very noisy!), before I can take a picture, so my teacher gave me several deadly stares, as I did it while he was talking. There was a beautiful sunset right behind him and I really didn't want to miss that shot. It was extra beautiful as you could see the beautiful orange glow over the Roman ruins. Too bad, the picture came out blurry, as I tried to take the picture as fast as possible and not disturb my teacher too much. I hope that one day, I will be able to take that picture after all.

But before that happens, let's have a look at the souvenirs.

Souvenirs from Rome: cookies, pasta, balsemic vinegar, and limoncello

From left to right and back to front:
- Mafalda Corta garofalo (pasta)
- Bottle of balsamic vinegar
- bottle of limoncello

I will thoroughly enjoy all this delicious food. ^_^
