All four Peripera Sweet Meringue nail polishes
Because I am very backlogged right now, it took me a whole
year to finally show them on my blog. Just yesterday, I posted my review of the last Peripera Sweet Meringue nail polish. I worked very hard on it since I really wanted to review them,
before we all start wearing bright colors on our nails for the summer. As I have written in my previous post, I really like how the four bottles look next to each other and I discovered that I haven't posted a decent picture of that. This post will be about all four of the Peripera Sweet Meringue nail polishes and you will get to see them side to side (even on my nails too!).
It also seems like they are discontinuing the whole old Peripera nail polish line (no more pretty, long (and cat-shaped) caps!). I have gotten this idea as I have seen the nail polishes from the older collections go on sale on Gmarket for just 1,000 won each. I really need to speed up the swatching, since I still have a bunch of Peripera nail polishes that need to be swatched for my blog, before you cannot even buy them anymore.
With the older nail polishes gone, they will use similar cylindrical, stack-able nail polish bottles that Innisfree, Tony Moly, and Etude House have. You might have already seen these nail polish bottles in the Peripera x Disney Frozen collection and the Peripera World Cup Brazil nail polish collection. From now on, the normal nail polishes fall under the Nail story line and the glitter nail polishes under the Glam story line. I have nothing against standardization and improved efficiency, but why do they have to make all the nail polish bottles less detailed and pretty? >_<
If you only want to buy one of the Peripera Sweet Meringue nail polishes and you like wearing pink on your nails, I would recommend getting the Peripera nail polish RD705 - Strawberry Meringue. It has the best consistency and coverage out of the four. So even if you are not that experienced with applying nail polish, you should be able to apply it nicely when you take the time for it. For me personally, I would have chosen for the Peripera nail polish GR314 - Mint Meringue, as - even though it is almost impossible to work with- it has the prettiest color to me.
From left to right:
GR314 - Mint Meringue | BL609 - Soda Meringue | RD705 - Strawberry Meringue | YE906 - Lemon Meringue
Seeing the Peripera Sweet Meringue nail polishes like this, I am sure you can understand why I just had to buy them all. ^_^
For the sake of comparison, I have painted each nail polish on my nails. Under the same light, you should be able to figure out which is your favorite color better.

What if you only want to buy one?
