Etude House Juicy Cocktail gradation nails 8 - Lime Squash review
As you might have seen in my 15th Gmarket order blog post, I ordered three Etude House Juicy Cocktail Gradation nails sets. I bought two of the newer Etude House Juicy Cocktail gradation nail sets and one of the older range. I will start reviewing the one that I was curious about the most, set no. 8 - Lime Squash. Just like with the earlier range of Etude House Juicy Cocktail gradation nails sets, the name has nothing to do with actual fruit or vegetables, but it is the name of a cocktail. I really liked the Etude House Juicy Cocktail gradation nails set no. 3 - Love Violet and set no. 4 - Mint Frappe that I reviewed before, so I started with great anticipation.
Inside the pretty box, there are three small nail polish bottles of 4ml each with 1,2, and 3 labeled on top of the cap. But even without those, you should be able to know the order to apply them, just by looking at them.
When I got to the third step, I could finally see some more green on my nails. This green glitter top coat has a dark green base color and besides the small light green glitters, there are also larger hexagonal glitters in light and dark green.
This is how the Etude House Juicy Cocktail gradation nails set no. 8 - Lime Squash looks like on the nails after completing all three steps.
I really like all the nail polishes in the Etude House Juicy Cocktail gradation nail set no. 8 - Lime Squash. The first nail polish has a nice milky finish and interesting color, if only it wasn't so sheer. The second nail polish actually has fine, translucent shimmers in it, but you just can't see it in the pictures. It looks like it has plain white glitters, but in reality, it looks very pretty. Lastly, the third nail polish is a beautiful green glitter nail polish that you can perfectly wear on its own too.
But I don't know if I will wear these nail polishes as gradation nails often, as I prefer them all on its own more. The gradation just somehow doesn't look too smooth to me. I still think that it was great that I bought this nail polish set, as I got three very different and unique nail polishes in small bottles that I am more likely to finish.

This is nail polish no. 1 - Refreshing lemon.
It is a very sheer, milky yellow nail polish with a slight green undertone. I kind of wish that it is could become more opaque, as that would be an interesting color of nail polish.
This is nail polish no. 2 - Thrilling Lime.
This lime-green, milky glitter nail polish has a lot more color in it, but it is still quite sheer. After two coats of nail polish, I still don't see much green on my nails. It is looking rather yellow to me (with maybe a small hint of green, if you look closely).
This is nail polish no. 3 - Tangy Lime.
