Canmake Gradation Wink eye shadow 03 - Strawberry Tart review
I had bought this Canmake Gradation Wink eye shadow 03 - Strawberry Tart during my last vacation in Japan more than a year ago, but I still haven't written a word about that yet on my blog. But I cannot keep this mini trio eyeshadow palette unused any longer, so I have taken it out to review.
It has a very pretty plastic case with diamond shaped decorations. The print on top of the case looks white in the picture, but it is actually metallic silver with a holographic sheen. The case is very sturdy and it closes very well, so you can put it in your handbag without any worries.
The Canmake Gradation Wink eye shadow 03 - Strawberry Tart contains three gradating colors: light pink, pink, and brown with pink shimmers.
After trying it out a few times, I noticed that it is better to apply it with the side of your finger instead, as it has a flatter surface and it will make the eyeshadow look more evenly distributed on the eyelid.

On the back, you can see some instructions on how to apply this eyeshadow. Basically, you swipe across the eyeshadow with one finger (make sure to press quite hard) and then, you can apply it on your eyelid.

You can see that the eyeshadow is still a bit sheer after one layer. Underneath, you can see how it looks like after 3-4 layers.
Although they say that one layer is already enough, I think it looks better after applying it a few more times. The good thing is that you can easily build the color up to your needs. The colors in this mini eyeshadow palette are nothing extraordinary, but it is the beautiful shimmers that makes it very special.
My opinion
The three colors in the Canmake Gradation Wink eye shadow 03 - Strawberry Tart are really as the name suggest, very cute and girly. It can easily be worn on any occasion. You do have to love the shimmers though as they are quite visible. Applying the eyeshadow nicely can take some practice and I think that I could have blended the slightly messy part on the right of my eyelid more with my finger, but after washing my hands, I didn't want to go again. So even though, you can get beautiful gradation eyeshadow on your eyelids quite quickly, you do have to worry about getting your hands clean. If you are in a bus or something like that, you can solve that by carrying a small pack of wet tissues with you.
