Ciaté Mini Mani Month door 2: PP017 - boudoir
I just gotten aware that I am really behind on reviewing as I looked back in the blog archives and the first nail polish from the Ciaté Mini Mani Month, the PP146 - snow globe, was featured almost a month ago. There goes my ambitious plan of revealing a new nail polish every few days...
This nail polish has a beautiful deep red color and a glossy finish. It is the first time, I tried a normal, color nail polish from Ciaté (as the first one was a holographic foil nail polish), and I really like the thin, glossy coat that it creates on the nails. I did experience some problems with the watery formula, as I gotten used to ones with a thicker consistency. From my experience, it is better to apply a relatively thick coat than really thin coats.
The Ciaté mini nail polish PP017 - boudoir is already really opaque after one coat, but applying two, makes the color more intense and glossy. That is also what I did in the pictures. Strangely, this particular Ciaté nail polish seems to stain the skin. I made some mistakes while applying the nail polish and they were really hard to remove from my fingers.
Until now, I have only reviewed two of the mini nail nail polishes from the Ciaté Mini Mani Month advent calendar. Still, 22 more to go...
