Noodles shopping at Wah Nam Hong, Rotterdam

A couple of weeks ago, I visited the Chinese supermarket, Wah Nam Hong, in Rotterdam. It had been quite a long time, since I last had some noodles, so I came home with three different kinds: the Bamboo Tree Vietnamese rice noodles, YumYum instant noodles in two flavors, and the Sau Tao Instant Noodle King in the flavor, Abalone Chicken Soup.

I have never eaten pho in a restaurant before, but from friends, I heard that it is very delicious. Lately, I tried some instant pho and I quite liked it, so I bought two bags of the Bamboo Tree Vietnamese rice noodles to try making it myself. In the store, I saw that the Bamboo tree brand had rice noodles in various widths - from very thin to very wide - and I bought the wide ones with the letter L on the packaging.

YumYum instant noodles

I found these YumYum instant noodles for 5+1 and I just had to buy them. It brought back memories as I used to eat these a lot, while I was a college student. They only had the two flavors, shrimp and duck, available, but they happen to be my favorite flavors, so I bought one bag of each.

Sau Tao Instant Noodle King cups

I bought three cups of the Sau Tao Instant Noodle King with the Abalone Chicken Soup flavor. It was only at home that I realized that I should have paid more attention to the words in the purple circle, as I bought one with thin and two with thick noodles, while I thought all three were the same.

Near the Wah Nam Hong, a large Amazing Oriental store had opened some time ago and I also bought many things there, which I will share later.
