Review: HEMA shimmering face and body powder - silver and gold
It is almost Christmas and I think that Christmas is the only time of the year that you can really go all out with the most extravagant and attention grabbing Christmas lights and glitters everywhere. I normally don't wear much glitter make-up, except for some subtle glitters in my eye shadow or lip gloss, but this year's Christmas, I want to add more glitters in my beauty routine.
The HEMA shimmering face and body powders come in beautiful glass bottles and a puff that reminds me of vintage perfume bottles. I do wish that they could have left out the black letter print on the bottle.
The plastic cap that sort of prevents the product from leaking out doesn't close very tight. It would be great if they could improve that. But on the other hand, I don't see any problems with just throwing the plastic cap away. The plastic cap is open at the side where the puff is located, so it isn't really there to keep the product air-tight. It actually looks more luxurious without!
A large cloud of glitters will come out of the bottle with a heavy powdery scent that luckily doesn't linger. Make sure that the puff is fully filled with air and one hard squeeze in the middle part will do the trick. I am not sure how you are supposed to apply it on your face, but I think that the fine glitters look very pretty on the collar bones and shoulders.

What do I think?
I have tried the HEMA shimmering face and body powders out a couple of times and I figured out that it is best to hold the bottle about 15 cm from your skin.
