Special K Biscuit Moments - blueberry review
Since I also have the dream to be a food blogger, this review will not be beauty related (or maybe it is, when you consider it to be a snack that helps you stay slim and pretty ^_^). I am always interested in discovering and trying new snacks, so I will write down my thoughts about them on my blog too, from now on. I am not sure if this is a new snack, but it is the first time I saw this in the stores, here in the Netherlands.
I am sure you know the Special K cereals, but now they have added these Biscuit Moments, which comes in three flavors: chocolate, strawberry, and blueberry. One box contains 5 packs of biscuits and one pack with two biscuits in them, totals to 99 calories. I choose the blueberry flavored biscuits to try.
When you take the biscuits out of the packaging, the first thing you notice is that they are very thin and light. The crust looks a bit brown and is not entirely white, which makes you think that it contains a lot of grains. It also looks like there is so much fruit jam in there that it is coming out from the sides. On the top, there are swirls of a very bland tasting, vanilla frosting (and I thought they were white chocolate at first, hence the disappointment). On the bottom, there are some v-shaped imprints. I am a bit curious how they made the holes in the biscuit so irregular of size.

How does it taste like?
Don't worry, it doesn't taste anything like cereal. ^_^ Aside from the initial disappointment by the fake chocolate swirls, the biscuit tastes quite good. Normally, you would taste the biscuit crust more and then a bit of fruit, but here, it is the other way around. It is like you are eating a spoonful of blueberry jam with small pieces of crispy biscuits in there. You can really taste the fruit and the biscuit is very thin and crispy.
It is a great snack to have, when you are craving for something sweet in the middle of the day, but it is not really filling.

This is the ingredients list that you can find at the back of the packaging:
