Kingsday 2016 nails
Today, it is Kingsday in the Netherlands and there will be lots of festivities. One of the fun things to do is browsing the flea markets that are held everywhere. I don't have any plans yet, but if the weather is nice, I would love to go out and walk around in city center. I really love eating street food and I can't buy that almost anywhere on normal days, so I should take this opportunity to try out lots of new things. Although I haven't set aside a Kingsday outfit, I did think about what to wear on my nails.
I first used the l'oréal color riche nail polish 306 - sex on the peach, which is a beautiful, glossy peach nail polish. Although it doesn't seem that way in the picture, the nail polish was a bit hard to apply (very streaky) and I needed about three coats for full coverage. My advice is to apply generously as having too little nail polish on the brush, creates ridges on the nails. It has a wide brush, but the nail polish is a bit too watery, so it can sometimes overflow on the nails.
Next, I applied the Etude House nail polish 02 - Flickering light from the Etude House If Story nail kit 2 on the tips of the nails. It is a beautiful, sparkly, warm gold glitter nail polish which is great for layering on top of another nail polish. It has gold glitter in various sizes and here and there, some square purple glitters.
How I created my Kingsday 2016 nails
