Etude House Sweet Recipe Dear My Jelly Lips JPK001 review

From the four Etude House Sweet Recipe lipsticks that I bought in my 12th Gmarket order, I was the most curious about the Etude House Dear My Jelly Lips lipstick JOR203 and Etude House Dear My Jelly Lips lipstick JOR201. These lipsticks seems to have the most color pay-off, from looking at the color of the lipstick bullet and the promotional pictures, which you can find in this post. I had to try them out immediately, even though I was having a cold at that time. The remaining two lipsticks, the yellow and the light pink ones, seem to be very light and I thought they would just look like a transparent lip balm on me, so I left them to test later.

I was wrong though. The Dear My Jelly Lips JPK001 really surprised me. I forgot that this lipstick was one of the two lip tints among these Etude House Dear My Jelly Lips lipsticks. From looking at the pink lipstick bullet, I thought it would just be a gentle pink, but I was really mistaken. You can find the pictures at the end of the post - if you don't have the patience- , but first a short introduction of the Dear My Jelly Lips JPK001.

The lipstick bullet really makes it look like a lip balm or a lip treatment stick.

After using it, you can see the color change to a fuchsia pink.

The very pretty pink ring. (I like this ring the most ^_^)

Because I took the picture very soon after I applied the lipstick on my arm, it is not really fuchsia yet. But you can see the edges of the swatch on the right slightly turning fuchsia already.

The Dear My Jelly Lips JPK001 on my lips

The Etude House Dear My Jelly Lips JPK001 turns into a dark pink with a hint of fuchsia on my lips. I have noticed that this particular lip color is quite popular in South-Korea. Besides orange lip colors, I see this fuchsia pink lip color a lot on Korean actresses. It is quite funny, because orange and fuchsia lip colors are most likely to be the ones left over and not getting sold at the beauty counters in my country. ^_^
