Etude House nail polish OR202 - Grapefruit syrup review
After the Etude House nail polish BE102 - Maple syrup, I now have the Etude House nail polish OR202 - Grapefruit syrup to show you. It is my favorite coral pink color, so I cannot wait to show you how it looks on my nails.
Applied on the nails, it has a very gorgeous grapefruit pink color, just as the name of the nail polish suggests. Compared to the promotional picture (which can be found here), it is in reality not that dark rose pink and the color leans a bit more to orange. Just like with Etude House Maple syrup nail polish, it looks very jelly like on the day of application and more opaque on the next days.
I have been wearing it for 5 days straight already and no signs of chipping can be seen. I forgot to mention it in my previous review, but you sometimes get strange, small "bubbles" on the surface of the nails (as can be seen on the nails of the ring finger and the pinky underneath).
To make them look smooth again, I have added another layer of nail polish and a top coat on top and that seems to have solved the problem. I am not sure if this happened because I didn't clear away the previous nail polish from my nails good enough or that it often happens with jelly nail polishes (due to the temperature or not waiting long enough between coats?). The strange thing is that it happened on some nails and not on all.
So far, the two Etude House spring 2013 Look at my Nails nail polishes were great and I still have one more left to review. ^_^
