Review: HEMA pastel nail polishes in yellow, green, and blue

After seeing the Etude House Play Tropical Aqua Nails, I want to straight away go start reviewing the Summer nail polishes that I have lying around. But before I do, I still have three pastel HEMA nail polishes to show you. These nail polishes have been in store for some time already (I bought it last year) and there are 6 pastel colors for you to choose from. I bought the pastel yellow, blue, and green, but they are also available in pink, peach, and purple.

Previously, I already bought the pastel Peripera Sweet Meringue nail polishes, but I wanted to get some nail polishes in a lighter pastel color too. While I was browsing at my local HEMA store, I saw these pastel nail polishes displayed there and I just had to get a few to try out.

These nail polishes have the same wide and thick brush as the other HEMA nail polishes that I have.

These pastel nail polishes all have very fine shimmers, but it is the most visible in the pastel yellow nail polish.

Although, you can really see the shimmers in the nail polish bottle, they are barely there on the nails. I wish that the color is the same pale yellow as in the pictures, but the HEMA long lasting nail polish 433 - Pastel yellow is in reality a bit more yellow. It makes my nails look like pastel yellow, lemon candies.

The HEMA long lasting nail polish 441 - Pastel green has a very pretty, light pistachio green color. Pistachio is my favorite ice cream flavor, so it makes me love this color too. ^_^

My opinion

These nail polishes gives your nails a lovely pastel color with a nice amount of glossiness. They have a slightly runny formula, but it is still acceptable for neat application. The only thing that bothers me is how streaky it gets. Even after 3-4 coats, you can still see some grey shadows, showing the nail that is underneath. This is very different from my good experience with other HEMA nail polishes. It might be caused by the white base that they needed to use, which usually makes nail polishes almost turn as streaky as wall paint.
