Review: Clio All That Eye Styler Kit 2 - Walk on the city
I have bought both of the Clio All That Eye Styler Kits in my 15th Gmarket order and after the Clio All That Eye Styler Kit 1 - Lie on the beach, it is finally the turn of the Clio All That Eye Styler Kit 2 -Walk on the city.
I have already written a thorough description of the exterior and the interior of this eyeshadow palette in my previous review, so if you are interested, you might want to look that one up.
Just like the first palette, there are 6 colors of eyeshadow, a primer, and a matte eyeshadow shade that can be used as an eyeliner.
The names of the eyeshadow colors are (from left to right): Cotton Primer, Metallic Silver, Beige Shine, Queen's Pink, Holly Orange, Mocha Brown, Night Navy, Matt Black. Please note that I have swatched the colors without any primer underneath. The main reason I wanted to get this eyeshadow palette was for the beautiful, peachy, Holly Orange shade that I saw on Dara in the promotional pictures. But as you can see in the swatches underneath, it isn't the peachy orange that I expected from looking at the swatches from Clio. It is a very orange shade with a gold sheen. Queen's Pink also turned out different from what I expected as it is a dark pink with gold sheen that looks very similar to the Golden peach eyeliner from the Peripera peri's Smoothie Pencil Liner set no. 1 - Fantastic that I already have and that one actually has more pigmentation and looks prettier as a eyeshadow. I did get surprised by the Beige Shine shade as it has a very pretty bronze color that is great for a bronzed makeup look in the summer.
Even though Mocha Brown and Night Navy looks very pigmented in the swatches (I applied many layers!), it doesn't have the same gorgeous metallic effect as the Khaki Gray and Modern Gray shade from the Clio All That Eye Styler Kit 1 - Lie on the beach. I wish they did, but they have a very smokey effect instead. When you brush these two eyeshadow colors out, it has the effect of a very smokey, matte eyeshadow.
You basically buy the Clio All That Eye Styler Kit eyeshadow palettes for four eyeshadow colors (in this case: Queen's Pink, Holly Orange, Mocha Brown, and Night Navy), as the other shades as basics that most people should already have, but are nice to have with you, when you are outside. Sadly, none of these four eyeshadow colors were as special as the ones from the Clio All That Eye Styler Kit 1 - Lie on the beach. So, I would rather recommend you to get that one instead.

The Queen's Pink shade has a very pretty pink color with a gold sheen, but it is just that I have many eye shadows that look like this.
My opinion
You basically buy the Clio All That Eye Styler Kit eyeshadow palettes for four eyeshadow colors (in this case: Queen's Pink, Holly Orange, Mocha Brown, and Night Navy), as the other shades as basics that most people should already have, but are nice to have with you, when you are outside. Sadly, none of these four eyeshadow colors were as special as the ones from the Clio All That Eye Styler Kit 1 - Lie on the beach. So, I would rather recommend you to get that one instead.
Makeup looks
- Smokey Eyes and Nude Lips with eye shadows: Matt Black and Night Navy.
- Passionate Pink with eye shadows: Queen's Pink and Metallic Silver.
- Autumn Red with eye shadows: Mocha Brown and Metallic Silver.
