Too Faced La Belle Carousel - Who's Your Poppy ? and Chocolate Soleil review

I have finally gotten to the blusher and bronzer palettes in the Too Faced La Belle Carousel. In this blog post, I will review the purple blush and bronzer palette containing the Who's Your Poppy ? blush and the Chocolate Soleil bronzer.

Too Faced La Belle Carousel - purple blush & bronzer palette review

Who's Your Poppy looks a bit washed out in the pictures, but it is a beautiful, almost coral, warm pink blush with many gold (+ multi-color?) shimmers.

Chocolate Soleil is a milk chocolate brown, matte bronzer with an orange-brown undertone and here and there some shimmers. I was to most curious to try this one out, as it has the same amazing chocolate scent as the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Collection Palette. I finally understand why fellow beauty bloggers are writing that they like to take it out to sniff once in a while. It has a very delicious milk chocolate scent with a noticeable, creamy milk note. It is what a cup of hot chocolate should smell like. ^_^

What do I think?

I have never properly shaped my face with bronzer before, so I don't really think that it looked that nice on me. But I will try to practice more, as I saw that it can really make your face shape look better. Color-wise, I am not sure if Chocolate Soleil fits with my skin tone. The orange undertone looks a bit strange, but the lower part of the picture in the right, where I spread it out more, does look like how it is supposed to be.

Who's Your Poppy ? is a beautiful, warm pink blush that looks great. I think I spread it out too much in the picture in the right, as I almost wiped all of it off. The gold shimmers didn't bother me as much as I thought.
