Simple recipe for hot days: fried chicken strips wrap
It is super warm here in the Netherlands lately (today, it is about 35 degrees Celcius) and because of that, I barely have an appetite. Yesterday, I decided to make a simple fried chicken strips wrap and I will share the recipe underneath.
- Fried chicken burgers (one per person), cut in strips. You can make one from scratch or just buy them ready-made from the supermarket.
- cucumber
- tomatoes
- carrot
- wraps
- a sauce. I used a yogurt salad dressing from a bottle that you can buy in the supermarket.
What you need for the Fried chicken strips wrap

- a sauce. I used a yogurt salad dressing from a bottle that you can buy in the supermarket.
First, place a wrap on a large plate and put the vegetables (cut in the way you want) in the center.
Place the fried chicken strips that you made beforehand on top and add the sauce that you want. I used a yogurt dressing sauce and you can even see a bit of the bottle at the right upper corner of the picture underneath. It is also possible to leave out the sauce (avoid extra calories), as the vegetables make the wrap moist enough.
Fold the bottom part of the wrap first and then, the sides. It may get a bit difficult, but practice makes perfect.
