Souvenirs from Turin

Last month, my brother went to Turin for about 2 weeks and he brought back a lot of souvenirs for me. Just like the previous times, I just asked for food souvenirs that represent the local food culture. Looking back, I noticed that I still haven't blogged about all the souvenirs from Rome and the souvenirs from Barcelona yet. But don't worry, I am working on it. Just like with my trips to Japan, I am working really hard lately in catching up. It is only about 7 years of backlog, no big deal!    

Let me now show you all the delicious goodies I got from Turin:

1. Sorelle Nurzia Biscotti. These are large, oval shaped cookies. 
2. Alce nero frollini al cacao con gocce di cioccolato. The chocolate cookies with chocolate chips are a repurchase, as I really liked the bag I got from Rome.  
3. Gentilini Favole con gocce di cioccolato. Chocolate chip cookies with a train engraving.

4. Giuly cookie - Chocolate chip vanilla cookies.
5. Golosi di Salute - Siamesi. Chocolate filled cookies that looked similar to the Baci di Dama cookies (Turin specialty) that I wanted to try out.

6. Tartufino dolce. Chocolate truffles.
7. Babbi - Crema pistacchi. Pistachio cream.
8. Toffees cremose con estratto di Liquirizia di calabria dop. Licorice toffees. 

9. Cereal Terra mini jar gift set: salsa aioli, salsa pepe verde (green pepper sauce), senape (mustard), salsa cocktail, and maionese (mayonnaise).
10. Tartuflanghe senape al miele e tartufo bianco. Honey and White truffle mustard. 

11. Varvello - crema condirè agrodolce all' aroma limone. Lemon salad dressing.  
12. La Dispensa di Amerigo - Aceto Balsamico di modena IGP. Balsamic vinegar.



13. Agricola del sole - I tipici. Durum wheat semolina pasta with shield like shapes. 
14. Fontanafredda - Raimonda Barbera D'Alba 2015. A bottle of red wine made with the Barbera grape, in the Piedmont region, Northern Italy.
