My favorite outerwear F/W 2019-2020

Since I won't be going out that often until early May at the earliest, I think it is okay to store some of my winterwear away. Last winter, I wore the following two sets of outerwear the most.

Earth music ecology pink coat accessorize white knit hat river island pastel stripe scarf

Pink coat from an earth music & ecology fukubukuro, white wool hat (Accessorize), pastel stripe scarf (River Island)

This pink coat is one of the few coats that I got from a fukubukuro that I have actually worn to shreds. It is always a gamble what kind of coat you get in a fukubukuro and if the shape, the color, or the style fits you. This is something that I would buy in an instant, if I saw it in the store. It has a slight A-line, which is very flattering. The buttons are placed in a way that I can comfortably sit down without unbuttoning my coat. The large pockets placed on the outside makes it comfortable for me to walk, while having my hands in the pockets (some coats have awkwardly placed pockets), and my hands don't take up space inside the coat. The white knit hat makes me look like a giant baby, but once you get used to not having cold ears outside, you can endure that feeling of embarrassment and walk out proudly. The pastel striped scarf is probably for during the summer, but it kept me quite warm during the winter too. It matches the coat very well and looking at pastel colors makes me happy.

New Look red coat white leopard print scarf black white tweed bag

Red coat (New Look), white leopard print scarf (Wanko), black-white tweed bag (ans)

I have always been on the look-out for a red coat, but I never really liked the shade of red or the shape and style of the coat. This red coat is perfect. The dark rose red color is not too cold-toned or too tomato red. It is not too long or too short. The buttons can be closed up to the neck or slightly opened to look more casual. There is a matching, removable belt, which accentuates the waist. The black, glossy buttons and belt clasp look very pretty with the red. Since the coat is already really eye catching, I matched it with two black-white toned accessories. I am not a big fan of animal prints, but this white leopard print scarf looked so beautiful that I had to buy it. The black-white tweed bag has a pretty chain strap.
