Etude House xoxo Minnie nail polish 04 - Minnie Pink Ribbon review

I decided to review the nail polishes in the order of the numbers, so after the Etude House xoxo Minnie nail polish no. 03 - White Minnie, comes nail polish no. 4 - Minnie Pink Ribbon. Together with the nail polish no. 6 (which will be reviewed soon too ^_^), these two are my favorite glitter nail polishes out of the Etude House xoxo Minnie nail polishes.

The Etude House xoxo Minnie nail polish no. 4 - Minnie Pink Ribbon has a clear, light pink base with white & dark pink ribbons, white polkadots, and white & light pink hexagonal glitters in various sizes. What makes it special, is the large amount of translucent glitters in large and very small squares. These glitters turn yellow, orange, or pink, depending on the light. It's like sprinkling a bit of the Disney magic dust on the nails.  I thought only Mickey Mouse could make those magically appear from his magic wand, but I guess even Minnie Mouse can help you get them on your nails. ^_^

The translucent glitters were a bit difficult to capture in the pictures, as it looks transparent - almost not there - in most pictures. This picture above was my most successful attempt. >_< I have worn this glitter nail polish over the light blue nail polish from the claire's 6 pack pastel mini nail polish set, because I wanted to create a "frolicking butterflies in the clear blue sky" and  "spring is in the air" effect on the nails. However, the color seems to be too light to bring out the translucent glitters. I might need to try a darker color next time. ^_^
