Makeup look 5: Big City Girl
This is the eye makeup look for the last NYC Expert Last lip lacquer that I have, which is the NYC Expert Last lip lacquer 400 - Big City Berry. Appropriately, I am calling this, the Big City Girl makeup look. This bright berry red lip color is just as hard to create an eye makeup look for as the NYC Expert Last lip lacquer 500 - Rockaway Ruby (at least for me). While I created a dark, brown-grey, smokey eye makeup look for the deep red lip lacquer, this time, I choose for cool, metallic khaki grey and turquoise eyeshadow colors.
I first used the Khaki Gray eye shadow from the eyeshadow palette, Clio All That Styler kit 1, to line the entire eyes. I applied it more heavily on the upper lash line, whereas I lightly dabbed it on the lower lash line. Then, I used the Tropical Blue eye shadow from the same eyeshadow palette on the outer part of the upper lash lines. I used my fingers to gently fade some of the Tropical Blue eyeshadow on the rest of the eyeliner that I created with the Khaki Gray eye shadow. By doing this, I created a very pretty gradation.
The NYC Expert Last lip lacquer 400 - Big City Berry was very hard to photograph, as I couldn't capture its true color, no matter how many times I took a picture of it on my lips. The lip swatches shown in the picture as well in the full face picture is the closest that I got. It has a deep raspberry red color.
