HEMA Pretty Lips lipgloss 13 - Velvet Mauve review
From just looking at the picture, you might think that this is the HEMA Pretty Lips lipgloss 14 - Pretty Pink that I reviewed before. But this is really the HEMA Pretty Lips lipgloss 13 - Velvet Mauve. You can see in the picture that although they both have a metallic pink lipstick tube, this one has a darker pink color with a hint of purple. You can really easily tell them apart. This is one of the last two HEMA Pretty Lips lipglosses that I have left to review (Am I perhaps saving the best for last? ^_^).
The reason why I bought the HEMA Pretty Lips lipgloss 13 - Velvet Mauve, is because I don't own any purple lipsticks and the swatch I made in the store, looked very wearable. It is a warm pink with purple undertones. Although I still think that I cannot wear any light pinks or pinks with purple undertone on my lips, this one looks a lot better than the HEMA Pretty Lips lipgloss 14 - Pretty Pink that made me look very pale, making it almost look like a nude lip.
It has a sour raspberry candy scent that smells very delightful. Strangely enough, I also taste some bitterness like with the HEMA Pretty Lips lipgloss 12 - Fiery Sunset. Maybe, it depends on the color or the amount of lip product that I accidentally "eat".
This lip gloss color wasn't able to beat my favorite HEMA Pretty Lips lipgloss 15 - Sea Coral. Wonder how the last one (HEMA Pretty Lips lipgloss 18 Peony Fuchsia) will fare?
