Halloween 2014 nails: Dark burgundy nails with red glitters
If you don't want to have black nails as in my first Halloween nail idea, you can also try a dark burgundy nail color, which has the same creepy vibe. I started with the Etude House nail polish DRD302 - Fire Vampire from the Etude House Dear My Deep Color Nails range, which has a very dark, glossy burgundy color. Then, I wanted to create a blood splatter effect and I was torn between using the Etude House nail polish PBK801 from the Etude House Dear My Party Nails range and the Peripera nail polish RD704 - Gossip Red. In the end, I just used both. ^_^

You can see the Etude House nail polish PBK801 on my index and ring finger and the Peripera nail polish RD704 - Gossip Red on my middle finger and pinky. The biggest difference is that the glitters of the Peripera nail polish has a brighter red color and the smaller glitters are less dense. I used a glossy top coat to make the transition between the glitter and the base nail polish become more smooth.
