Review: GOSH Forever eye shadow metallic eye shadow stick 06 - Plum
The GOSH Forever eye shadow metallic eye shadow stick 06 - Plum is actually part of their Summer 2014 collection, but I wanted to save it for the festive times at the end of last year. I had been so busy that I couldn't post the review before Christmas and New Year's Eve, but I still want to share my thoughts about it. Soon it will be my birthday and I think that that is a festive enough occasion too. You can also take it out for Valentine's day dinner as well. I have worn the GOSH Forever eye shadow metallic eye shadow stick 06 - Plum as an eyeliner and as eye shadow. So if you are curious about the result, keep reading.
The GOSH Forever eye shadow metallic eye shadow stick has a very pretty, matte metallic exterior and quite a wide, crayon tip that makes application easy. The cap closes very tight and after twisting it, the crayon tip comes out very slowly - and also very important - you can twist it back in.
First, you can see me wearing the GOSH Forever eye shadow metallic eye shadow stick 06 - Plum as an eyeliner. I really like how pigmented it is and right after application, it is very creamy and spreadable. After it has fully settled, it is waterproof, but you can still smudge it, while it is wet. You can't remove it entirely with just water as it creates a dark stain on the skin, but you can easily remove that with some soap or with makeup remover.
Next, you can see me wearing the GOSH Forever eye shadow metallic eye shadow stick 06 - Plum as an eyeshadow as it is made for. I prefer wearing it as an eyeliner, as it adds a touch of sparkle to your eyes without being too obvious. But it looks really pretty as eye shadow too, since it has a very beautiful, frosty, silver-purple shade that can become very sheer, depending on how much you spread it out. In the closed eye picture, you can see that very well, as you can create a very pretty gradation with it. The color coincidentally matches very well with the GOSH nail lacquer 03 - Frosted Purple that I also have.
The GOSH Forever eye shadow metallic eye shadow stick is also perfect to create a "from day to night" look with, as you can wear it as a (very thin) eyeliner in the morning and take the stick along to add some eyeshadow above the eyeliner to create a evening look for sudden dinner invitations.
