Review: AriZona Cowboy Cocktail Watermelon and Strawberry Lemonade

When life give you lemons, you should make lemonade. I have a lot of things to deal with recently and I don't have the time and energy to make lemonade myself, but I did try two kinds of lemonade from AriZona for the first time.

The two flavors, Watermelon and Strawberry Lemonade, are from the AriZona cowboy cocktail range. In the store, I also saw the flavors, Mucho Mango and Fruit Punch from the same range. I might go get them the next time, but let me tell you what I think of these two first.

AriZona Cowboy Cocktail - Strawberry lemonade

The lemonade has a grey-pink color and it smells very good, similar to the long, lemon-strawberry swirl popsicles that I used to eat a lot when I was little. It tastes like lemonade that isn't sour and with a subtle note of strawberry. It has a great lemon aftertaste that you also get when you drink freshly squeezed lemonade. The AriZona Cowboy Cocktail - Strawberry lemonade is also really refreshing and not too overly sweet.

AriZona Cowboy Cocktail - Watermelon

The lemonade has a darker red-pink color and it smells like hard candies with watermelon flavor. Surprisingly, it really tastes like candy too. Luckily, it isn't too sweet, but the flavor isn't very memorable and it sadly doesn't come close to real watermelon. The beverage is 100% natural, but the hints of pear, mango, pineapple, kiwi, and cherry make it taste like candy, while I was looking for a clean watermelon juice flavor.
