New products 2015: Essie, L'Oréal, and Maybelline
Last May, I was invited to the new products presentation of the brands, Essie, L'Oréal, and Maybelline, in the Tabacco theatre in Amsterdam. Because I wasn't allowed to write about some of their latest products yet, I waited with writing the blog post about that day, until I could show you everything.
From left to right: in the lobby, frock 'n roll, color binge, with the band, bell-bottom blues, and leggy legend (missing). Someone was probably getting leggy legend applied on their nails and I can totally understand as it is a beautiful bronze nail polish.
The L'Oréal paris Casting Sunkiss jelly (the tube on the right) is a subtle hair coloring that gives your hair a natural looking, lighter tone, as if they were lightened by the sun.
With the L'Oréal paris Sublime Bronze self-tanning dry mist for the face (the can on the left) you can give your face a sun-kissed glow, without the need to smear it out.
The L'Oréal paris Elvive nutri-gloss luminizer shampoo and conditioner makes your hair super glossy. There is also a gloss spray in that same range, but it is not shown in the picture.
At the event, we were allowed to pick out one of the lip colors shown in the picture underneath and have our names printed on the outside of the lipstick. It was too dark, so I picked one that isn't really my color, but I will show you that another time.
You are supposed to apply it on your lips and cheeks. That way, you will have matching and natural looking shades on both your lips and cheeks.
I walked up close to take a better picture of the glitters in one of the Maybelline Babylips (lip) balm and cheek shades and I discovered that it has a very sweet candy scent.
Besides that, there were some older products with a revamped leopard print as a collaboration with the fashion brand ByDanie, several Dr. Rescue nail care products, and new eye makeup products.
Essie
I was the most curious about the nail polishes from Essie. At the event, I could see the nail polishes for summer, fall, and winter 2015. You could also have someone apply one of those new nail colors on your nails, but since I needed to take pictures and I didn't want to wait around doing nothing, I passed on that opportunity.

From the Essie Summer 2015 collection, I have already reviewed the sunset sneaks, pret-a-surfer, and chillato (review), but the ones that I don't have (the white, peach, and light blue nail polishes) look very pretty too.

I didn't get much information about the Essie Winter 2015 nail polishes yet, but I love the one on the far left called virgin show.
L'Oréal paris
Most of the new products from L'Oréal are summer 2015 products.

The catering was really nice and it gave me a lot of inspiration for appetizers and table arrangements.
Maybelline
The Maybelline product that I am the most curious about is the Babylips (lip) balm and cheek.
