Lunch at restaurant 9 Nine, Barcelona

After strolling on Passeig de Gràcia and admiring Casa Batlló, we had a three course lunch at 9 Nine restaurant. Next door, there is a large fresh food market, Mercat de la Concepció, and a large Caprabo supermarket. So, there is lots to see and explore before and after a lunch at this restaurant.

Three course lunch menu at restaurant 9 Nine

A three course lunch menu del dia costs €17 and it is from 13:00 - 16:00. Make sure that you go ahead of time, as it can get very crowded. For a fixed price, you get bread, wine, soda, or water, a first course (6 choices), a main course (4 meat and 4 fish and seafood choices), and a dessert (6 choices). The portions can be a bit small, but the quality of the food is excellent. I highly recommend the grilled main dishes, as the meat and cuttlefish (very thick one!) were perfectly prepared and the grilled flavor was very good.
