Nail polish match up: Fire Vampire meets Flickering Light

Etude House nail polish DRD302 - Fire VampireToday, I will show you the last nail polish from the new additions to the Etude House Dear my deep color nails, the nail polish DRD302 - Fire Vampire. I have finally swatched all 8 of them. ^_^ Fire Vampire is a very cool name for this burgundy red nail polish that is almost leaning to a pitch black. It is a great color for people who think that black is a bit too dark for their complexion. The slight red/brown tone in this Etude House nail polish can bring out the red of your skin more, whereas a black nail polish can make your fingers look as white as those of an actual vampire. ^_^

Although it is an interesting color, I still think that it is not really something for me (although I really wanted to get out of my comfort zone more). I have no clue how I can wear this color of nail polish in daily life. Maybe, with a black and white outfit...

I decided to use a nail polish from the Etude House If story nail kit 2 to put on top of it to brighten it up a bit. The nail polish #02 Flickering Light seems to be a perfect match. The base color with red and brown tones complement the gold and orange glitters quite well. The darker color also makes the smaller glitters and the purple square glitters more apparent, since you almost couldn't see them in the previous pictures I made with this nail polish over bare nails. You can also really see the difference between the orange and the yellow gold glitters. Before, you would have thought they were all the same color.
