NYC Super Nova Sparkle Top Coat review
This is the first time that I actually tried something from the brand NYC, which stands for New York Color. They are known for their trendy cosmetic products with affordable prices. I received this pretty NYC Super Nova Sparkle Top Coat with the purchase of a pack of sanitary pads at the Kruidvat drugstore. This is normally sold for €2.49 and it has a large bottle of 9.7 ml. It happens a lot nowadays that you get a free cosmetic product with a pack of sanitary pads. Last time, I saw that a pack contained a free full size Rimmel mascara.
The NYC Super Nova Sparkle Top Coat has a pearly finish with many multicolor shimmers, but the most visible are the blue and orange shimmers. This makes me think that it would look nice over dark blue and orange/red shades.
Even though this is a top coat, you can also wear this on its own. I have applied three coats and it is still see through, but you get a very pretty pearly finish. I actually think it is a good thing that it doesn't get totally opaque as the pink of your own nails makes it look more healthy. This nail polish has a slight nail polish scent, but the little bit of sweetness mixed into it, makes it comfortable on the nose.
